Plantation Golf Course, Crystal River, Florida

Late in January, Peg and I played The Plantation Golf Resort in Crystal River Florida. The course was in great shape. Located near the nature coast about two hours north of Tampa. What impressed us about this course was its abundance of wildlife. There were all types of birds on the course. Several of the holes had swamp areas located near them which are the home to numerous alligators. All in all the experience was a lot of fun. It was a bit chilly in the morning, but by the time we made the turn it was perfect. Manatees frequent the area during the winter months.
